ThaiCraft at ISB
Our 20-year relationship with International School Bangkok (ISB), one of Thailand's oldest and largest international schools, greatly benefits our artisan groups and ThaiCraft itself as well as promoting the concept of Fair Trade among faculty, students and their families.
By special invitation, the entire ThaiCraft Fair is set up at ISB twice every year on a Saturday in May and again in November. Members of the school and neighbourhood communities eagerly await this opportunity to obtain Thai handmade products to embellish their homes and as gifts for friends and loved ones in countries worldwide.
Throughout the year, high-school students offer community service by volunteering at the regular monthly ThaiCraft Fairs at Jasmine City, acting as service hosts, cashier assistants and as language translators at our FUNshops. ThaiCraft has also welcomed selected ISB students to look into our marketing and administration as a practical exercise for their business studies that is also a helpful contribution to improve ThaiCraft as a social enterprise.
